Woodford VINE Event Meanings
A custody event should be carried forward in the same terms used by the notice. Converting every alert into “released” can hide continued custody or a different legal process. Follow the event with the matching official record.

Missing Woodford VINELink Results
A failed VINELink search has several possible causes. The identity details may not match the live record, the person may be held in a system outside VINE, an agency update may be pending, or an older record may no longer appear. The official material reviewed for Woodford County does not promise a post-release retention window. State only that the search returned no match at the recorded time.
For a person last known at the Woodford County Correctional Facility, search the current roster and call the jail with the full name, date of birth, and booking number if known. Read those fields together. A projected parole date can change and does not prove that a release occurred. A last-paroled date records a parole event, while a projected discharge date may mark a later end to the sentence or supervision relationship. Some profiles use “INELIGIBLE” instead of a date.
IDOC warns that its information can change quickly. When the result is unclear, request written verification from the IDOC Public Information Office using the person's full name, date of birth, and IDOC number. Ask for admission, release or parole, discharge, location, status, and sentence-calculation information. That written response is more durable than trying to infer a final outcome from a VINE alert or one changing online field.
Woodford Registry Search Boundary
Illinois registries are separate statutory systems, not general release indexes. Use a registry only when a known registration duty makes it relevant.
